Acrobat DC is the successor to Acrobat XI, and while Adobe Document Cloud is an existing product, Acrobat DC is brand new. Adobe bills Acrobat DC as, “the complete PDF solution for working anywhere”.
This new Adobe software pairs with Adobe Document Cloud services, and provides a complete PDF workflow solution. It combines Acrobat desktop software with a new mobile app, as well as native Document Cloud services, helping to create a unified, connected, mobile workforce. This is the first Acrobat product to meet the burgeoning need for mobile solutions, allowing users to begin a task on one device and seamlessly complete it on another. Creating, editing and signing PDFs is simple, and users have immediate access to PDF tools across myriad connected devices.
Acrobat DC also integrates directly with Windows 7 and 8 (and 10 when it is officially rolled out later in 2015), providing Acrobat functionality from the Microsoft Office ribbon. Security is another strong point with this new product thanks to built-in protection and advanced security techniques, including sandboxing.
